Anna has a PhD in Environmental Engineering and many years of experience managing environmental projects in this field.

With ten years of experience as an academic, Anna likes to put her glasses and critical hat on to get to the nitty-gritty of projects. Anna started project-based work in European Union Framework biogas and biofuels projects. 11 years ago Anna made Tasmania her home and has been working at UTAS, coordinating and supervising environmental students. Anna is passionate about making engineering more sustainable, with a keen interest in stormwater management, water-sensitive urban design, biochar, urban metabolism and making engineering more welcoming for women. Outside work Anna spends her time travelling, kayaking, camping, hiking, dancing and looking after her two little people.
