Ever humble, Tim is thankful for the business and our team - he’s one of our Co-Directors!
He is also a senior consultant in strategy, planning and business cases. Tim has an abundance of experience as a Gateway Reviewer and is an expert in designing and delivering workshops on a range of infrastructure, service planning and team planning topics. Collaboration, community and working with others to develop a simple solution is what Tim values highest at work. When he’s not making us all cringe with his ridiculous anecdotes you can find him riding his bike or making music.
With 23 years’ experience in public health under his belt, Gavin is our specialist Health Consultant at Resonance.
His expertise lies in acute care and surgical patient management which includes waiting list management, patient flow and operating theatre efficiency. Gavin appreciates being surrounded by a team that’s motivated, passionate, experienced and willing to help each other. We can count on Gav for updates on the latest tech gadgets and he also loves camping, fishing and impressing his wife with Masterchef level meals.
If we’re honest, Roxanne is the one who keeps Resonance running smoothly.
She makes sure we are all organised (and paid…), providing business support across admin, bookkeeping and all things finance. Roxanne loves the flexibility of working at Resonance and the friendly, relaxed office vibe. She is equally great at joining in on the fun and chasing up our time sheets and other loose ends. An aspiring artist, Rox spends her free time painting and gardening.
Patrick is our Co-Director, a civil engineer and project director.
Seven years after joining Tim to take the business to the next level, Pat is greatly invested in the future of Resonance. Pat loves having freedom to work across a diverse range of industries and knuckling down solve a project problem. He’s a people person and really succeeds when bringing people together to achieve great things whether it’s with a team or one-on-one. Come weekends, he can be found with family, driving and fixing race cars or fossicking for fine furniture.
Remy is one of our Project Managers, specialising in water and wastewater infrastructure and services.
Basically, if it’s in the water sector, Remy’s worked on it. He has 15 years’ experience across French Polynesia and in Australia and has been settled at Resonance since 2018. He really thrives when working on a variety of projects but loves the agility of a small structure. It’s no surprise that Remy also spends time in the water (ocean, not wastewater!) when he isn’t working; he likes scuba diving and underwater rugby.
Derrick joined us in 2020 as a Project Manager. Always optimistic, Derrick is all about team, team, team and is enjoying the lean team environment at Resonance.
He brings with him a wealth of business management skills and experience having held numerous executive roles including board director positions. Derrick’s forte lies in risk management and strategic direction delivered with pragmatism and persistence. Catch him sharing his wine knowledge with the team (he is a wine maker!) and at CrossFit or with the family on weekends.
Peter is so passionate about his work that he came out of semi-retirement for us!
As one of our Senior Consultants, Peter brings 25 years of experience and a solid track record. He is results driven, so you know he’ll get the job done and done well. Project management and contract management are where Peter’s strength lies, and he also mentors in these areas. He has a natural proclivity for leadership and loves passing on knowledge accumulated throughout his career. In his free time, he likes travelling, golfing and fishing.
Rebecca wears a lot of hats at Resonance. She is Operations Manager and Consultant, and all-round organiser.
Rebecca’s’ speciality areas are in stakeholder consultations, preparing business cases, reviewing and improving systems. She really flourishes when she’s collaborating with either colleagues or clients and she gets a buzz from creative problem solving. Rebecca loves supporting local, she ensures any team catchups are at one of the great businesses near our offices in Moonah. Rebecca spends her weekends outside gardening or getting cultured at art galleries, reading or watching niche films.
Our youngest team member Brendon is a graduate mechanical engineer providing project engineering and management services.
We’re so lucky to have him at Resonance, and not just because he turns the heaters on at 7am during winter. His focus is on plant and process equipment investigations, data management and analytics and he is developing strong skills in project management. Brendon loves sinking his teeth into a complex project and enjoys the diversity of work. Variety is definitely the spice of life for Brendon as he has way too many hobbies; including car restorations, surfing, hiking and guitar.
A curious thinker with a knack for the written word, David’s skills include contract negotiation, strategy development and writing, service offering review and business case writing.
Most of his work is undertaken in the solid and liquid waste management areas. A large part of David’s role is client liaison, helping them make informed decisions and plan for success. He enjoys interacting with different and interesting people, and yes, he means the Resonance team too. David’s always on the hunt for a good-second hand bargain and loves playing and writing music and spending time with his two joyful children.
Cheryl is a renewable energy engineer with 15+ years’ experience in microgrids and community energy, and energy and transport.
Holding ‘why’ as the foundation of both engineering and strategic design, Cheryl focuses on appropriate solutions where technology, design, value, usability and need intersect. Cheryl is enjoying getting to know the motivated, enthusiastic bunch at Resonance, and drinking the great coffee that Remy makes! Cheryl recharges with time in the wilderness, gardening, weekend trips away with family and pretending to knit.
