Our lead consultant for the health sector, Gavin Meredith, has worked on state-wide projects in NSW including Leading Better Value Care, hip fracture management and operating theatre efficiency. The program aims to transform how NSW Health delivers care to patients through the combined actions of people across the state working together to achieve system reform. LBVC involves identifying and scaling evidence-based initiatives across the state that can improve health outcomes, the experiences of receiving and providing care, and the effectiveness and efficiency of care for specific cohorts of patients. The program supports a refocussing of the NSW Health system from a volume-based approach towards value-based healthcare. The focus of the program is on delivering services that continue to improve the experience of providing and receiving care, health outcomes, effectiveness and efficiency.
