Resonance was engaged to provide a wide range of advisory services to the Flinders Island Council, including infrastructure planning, business cases, operational improvements and providing a resource to act as general manager for a period of six weeks to cover leave. Flinders Island is a remote location where the community relies heavily on harbour and airport facilities to facilitate tourism, and access goods and services. Fuel and energy costs are significant, and local government is responsible for providing a wide range of community infrastructure vital to the prosperity and wellbeing of the community and local businesses. We provided advisory services to assist with identifying options, decision-making, planning and scoping in relation to improvements for a range of essential services and facilities including airport, harbour, roads and energy supply.
